Shawnette is a native Jamaican, a "likkle" country girl who enjoys the simple things in life. She loves the countryside, with the scenes of green, the cool breeze, and the rivers. Other than listening to and watching the birds, and ants, her favourite pastime activities are writing, drawing, and designing—from bags to puzzles to art—she's always crafting something. Shawnette will tell you that she has a deep appreciation for humour and that she loves people. A mentor, she tutors children and is a Christian who loves to share her faith. She is married.

Her mantra is, "The only way to do something is to do it."
